B.Sc. Nursing is a four-year professional medical coursethat combines classroom learning with extensive hospital-based practical training.
The programme focuses on developing clinical skills, patient care, medical ethics, and leadership qualities required in the healthcare profession.
Graduates are trained to work efficiently in hospitals, healthcare institutions, community health services, and academic environments.
The programme includes academic learning along with hands-on hospital and clinical training.
Students receive real-world exposure through supervised clinical practice.
There are two course options available: B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) and B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic).
B.Sc. Nursing (Basic): Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biologyand should be medically fit.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic): Candidates must have passed 10+2 in PCB, completed GNM (General Nursing Midwifery), and be registered as RNRM with the State Nurses Registration Council.
B.Sc. Nursing graduates can work in hospitals, medical colleges, community health centers, and healthcare administration.
